It is believed that chanting mantras and practicing Mudras has great benefits on our nervous system. Chanting mantras is an ancient practice. The vibration produced by the sound of mantra has beneficial effects on our mind, releasing the positive energy may decrease negative thoughts or stress. By practicing Mudras, or forming hands, and connecting the fingertips in specific ways, vital energy, or Prana, is redirected back into our body along specified channels to our brain. In this mantra, the 24 Mudras are practiced while chanting the Gayatri Mantra which has 24 syllables. Gayatri Mantra is dedicated to Savitri, a Vedic sun deity. Aum bhur bhuvah svah
