I am a mother, Indian classical dancer, and yoga teacher. Inspired by my community and my deep connection with nature, I am dedicated to helping you connect with yourself and with others. My primary focus is to guide you on a personal journey of growth, leading you to discover and embrace the joy of being.

I was lucky to be part of yoga practice at Total Woman gym before COVID. Izumi was and is a wonderful instructor. She always offers options and “ gentle yoga” is just that
She has continued to offer practice on Zoom

Izumi Sato is a wonderful, experienced yoga teacher with an extensive background encompassing the physical and philosophical mind set. She sets the stage at the beginning of each session and I enjoy and benefit so much more from the session by incorporating visualization themes, and mindfulness along with the physical goals. When I need to modify positions Izumi always comes up with an alternative that works for me. At the end of each session my body already feels so much better! Her classes have made such a difference in my overall mobility. ( I am soon to be 78!)

Great space and great instructor! Hands-on correction was appreciated and the class was a great mix of meditation and flow.
